Please watch two television programs (30 minutes and 60 minutes)and record 1) how long the program runs; 2) how many commercial breaks; and 3) how long are the commercial breaks.
Calculate breaks and program running time.

I watched a 30 min. program that had five commercials. one commercial ran 1 min and the other 1min and a half. Total time was 36 and a half min. The 60 min. TV program ran a little different. There were 7 commercial all running 1min. totaling time for program was 67min.
I watched a 60-minute show last night which only had 40 minutes of actual show. There were 44 commercials!! The lengh of all the 44 commercials together was about 19-20 minutes! BORING!
The half hour program I watched ran about nineteen minutes with six commercials. There was almost ten minutes of commercials!

I watched two television shows today the thirty minute one had seven commercials. Three of them was one minute and a half and four of them was one minute. Which turned out to be only 23 mintues of show time. Also, the 60 minute show had fifthteen commercials awhich made only 42 minutes of actual show time. I FELT CHEATED!!!!!!

I watched two programs, one was a thrity min sitcom and the other was an hour and a half program on Lifetime. The hour and a half Lifetime movie I actually recorded, ran approximately 5 min, of 6 consecutive commercial's each time. The hour and a half program itself, actually only consisted of 60 min of playing time. The longest commercials I ever seen! The 30 min sitcom, ran 4 commercials that were 1 and a half minutes long each.

The 30 min program had 6 commercials each running 1 minute, a total of 36 minutes. The 60 minute program had 9 c0mmercials a total of 69 minutes.
OK..Was home sick today and watched two soaps.
1."The Young and the Restless'..an hour show which actually only had 36min. actual show. There were six commercial breaks, 60! commercials, and the breaks were 3-4 min. long.
2. "The Bold and the Beautiful'. 30 min. soap which had 19min., of actual air time. There were three breaks, 28 commercials and the breaks were 3-4 min. long.
I miss the old days of TV!

In regards to the t.v. program assignment i am re-submitting it. The first program name was cheaters. Duration of program was from 9:00am till 9:58am a total of 58 minutes. Eight commercials were shown, and some commercials breaks were 1,2,3 and 4 minutes. Running time was 58 min, and 20 min commercial time, leaving an actual 38 minute running time. Next show watched was Dr. Phil, Program time started at 9:59 till 10:28. Two commercial breaks one commercial break had 7 commercial the other had 8 commercials. One commercial break was 3 min and the other was 4min. Seven minutes of commercial and 22 minutes in actual running time. I hope that i have addressed the specifics of this assignment.

I watched the sitcom Martin. The show had 2 commercial breaks. The first commercial break the commercial was 30 seconds the second commercial was one minute and the last was 20 seconds.
The second break the first commercial ran for 30 seconds the second commercial ran for 30 seconds. tthe third ran for 1 minute. the fourth ran for one minute. The fifth ran for 30 seconds and the sixth ran for 30 seconds. The total show ran for 24 minutes.

I watched a 30 minute program called Baldwin Hills and it had 29 commercials. The commercial breaks totaled 8 minutes and thirty seconds. The actual show ran 21 minutes and thirty seconds.
The 60 minute show that I watched was The Secret Life of the American Teenager and it had 4 commercial breaks with 13 commercials totaled. The commercials came to 9 minutes out of my show time. The show ran for 51 minutes.
T.V. sucks... I would prefer to watch more of my show. The commercials only tempted me to want to spend money!
i watched a 60 mins show called clean house on the style chanel. The program had 4 commercials. Two commercials ran 4 mins each, the remaining two ran 5 mins each. total show time was 42mins. The second program was a 30mins sitcom. had 3 commercials. Each commercial ran 3minute each. length of show was 29mins which made actual time of show 20mins.
